In a room, shared by a mysterious red bird, a couple begins to dance. Both are student and teacher. The wall of their room shows a landscape and what might be a lake behind it. In the other room, decorating the wall, are two dancers found in a book about the history of dance, implying a connection between present and past. This dance that repeats itself generation after generation.
