With her Cheshire cat grin, appearing entirely pleased with herself, she strolls forward on the stage. Behind her are backdrops with painted figures inspired by old dance posters.

Looking beyond, through the narrow space between the flats, the stage appears to end where the sky begins, putting everything on an upper level. Or perhaps the sunlight peeking through is just another spotlight mistaken for the real thing and she remains grounded after all.
