"Generations", was originally created for "Through the
Looking Glass", an exhibit at the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts. All of
the work was based on an interpretation of "mirror" (looking glass).
The images I used were based on childhood photos of my mother and daughter.
Like pieces of broken glass select only partial reflections (fragments
of the whole), generations echo each other in myriad variations.
